Losing your job is never easy. The feeling of failure, shame towards society, towards your loved-ones and the feeling that you have let your family down are just some of the most common feelings experienced by people who have been fired.
In some cases the person who lost his job may be the sole breadwinner of the family or may not have a financial reserve to ensure the same standard of living for a period longer than few months. In these cases feelings of fear, anxiety and even depression arise.
The unknown, the fact that you don’t know exactly what will be your next and when you will start affects every person to a greater or smaller extent. Generation Z (born after 1995) will handle this change more easily than Generation X (born between 1965 and 1979) and Y (born between 1980-1994).
Generation X and Y people might be at their first contract termination. For them, on top of losing their job they also lose lifetime colleagues, friends, they find themselves outside their life-routine and they even lose part of their identity. There are people who haven't been to an interview in 20 years, people who don't have a resume, people who don't know how to search for a job because they never had to do that before.
A responsible employer cares about the society in which it operates, it cares about employees as people, beyond their status as employees. A reputable company will do everything possible to mitigate the effects on the dismissed employees. More important than the deadlines than legal aspects, beyond technological progress/automation and beyond any transformation we have the employees, the employee with his family, his life and his career. Employers have a big responsibility in making sure they will pass through this period as easy as possible.
Strong Team helps employer by offering post-dismissal support services.

When a door closes another one opens. But in many cases we are so caught looking at the closed door that we don't even see the new open one. The coaching sessions will guide the employees towards a transformation, a progress, an action plan. Whether it's career coaching sessions or personal life coaching or a mix of both together with a coach you will overcome barriers and challenge period
The company provides a package of coaching sessions for the dismissed employees and after they are exhausted, they can continue through direct collaboration between coach and coachee.
Training: how to create/update an CV and how to find a new job
Dedicated to people who do not have the experience of looking for a job, this training is structured in 3 large parts:
- Writing a CV
- Electronic career platforms and application methods
- Preparing for the interview
One-day in class training, groups of a maximum of 12 participants.
At the end of which the participants will know how to write a good and attractive CV. Learners will have the theoretical and technical knowledge needed to use electronic recruitment platforms as well as other techniques for applying for a job (cover letter, applying through a recommendation, other ways to contact the employer). In addition, the participants will know what is the main structure of the job interview and how to prepare for its smooth performance.
Additionally, at the company's request, the CV of each dismissed person can be drafted, in individual sessions dedicated to each participant.
Support group reunions
Sharing experiences with people in similar situations helps a lot to normalize the situation, to create the feeling of belonging and to overcome difficult moments. We facilitate experience sharing sessions with people in similar situations, meetings that naturally form a support group for the individual and outside of organized meetings.
